Smart Parking with Sensors

Service 1

Managing a smart parking lot by sensors (Red/Green/Blue) with connection to the DPM+ application

Smart parking is one of the hottest and most challenging areas of modern technology with much innovation and technological solutions dramatically changing our lives.

Be step ahead of everyone, with smart parking, by correctly and efficiently using databases. You will save costs, increase working hour use, and promote a green environment.

Our winning solution:

This system transforms the multi-story parking experience for drivers by providing high visibility, color coded LED overhead guidance indicators that are dynamically controlled by your DPM+ system, allowing users to see the availability of entire rows of parking bays at a glance. Installing a parking guidance system (PGS) in your parking lot. Each parking spot will have a live enforcement sensor knowing if the parking spot is available, occupied, or reserved. Available parking spots will show up in real time in the app, and subscribers will easily know where there are available parking spots on each floor of the parking lot. Also, the subscriber will know, before arriving to the parking lot, if the parking lot is full and how many parking spaces available are in real time, especially on each level, and will be able to plan his travel.

Using the application, employees can reserve parking spots (by permissions created by the parking lot administrator), such as carpool parking, pregnant women parking, electric vehicle parking, disabled persons’ parking, double parking spots, etc.

The system is equipped with smart overhead lights monitoring in real time the parking occupancy of all parking spaces and making it easier for drivers to see from a distance where there is an available parking spot (green light) and where there is a full parking spot (red light).

Every parking spot will have an over head indicator and sensor displaying an available parking – green/ an occupied parking spot – red/ a disabled persons’ parking spot – blue, etc.

The application will show the total available parking spot in the parking lot – so that the employee will know ahead of time if there are available parking spots in the parking lot.

All available parking spots will show up in the app, so that the employees will know all the time which parking spots are available on each level or in each area.

How does that work?

  1. Each parking spot has an overhead ultrasonic sensor with an indicator light to show the parking spot’s availability.
  2. The sensor monitors the parking space and sends the data to the application. The app then shows the data to the user and displays the number of available parking spots on each /floor / area.
  3. Additionally, the parking lot’s administrator will have real-time updates about the parking lot’s status: parking spot occupancy, which parking spots are occupied and which are available, statistics, and reports.
  4. The app’s subscribers/employees save time and know where the available parking spots are, avoid entering a full parking lot, and maximally utilize special parking spots (double, reserved, motor pool vehicles).

Service 2

DPM+ app connected to a Camera-based smart sensor system

The perfect solution, connecting the DPM+ application to the PGS guidance light and sensor system with camera imaging all parking spots.

By this solution, the parking lot’s administrator, and subscribers (app users) have the most accurate information where each vehicle parks. Each parking lot subscriber will know by the app where he parked and who “blocked” him in case of double parking.

Our winning solution:

Installing an overhead sensor system with cameras and indicator lights in the parking lot. The sensor is installed in the middle of the lane and is connected to 3 parking spots on each side. Total 6 parking spots per sensor.

The license plate identification system combining scanning and collection in the admin system the license plate number of the parking vehicle.

The app will show all available parking spots in the parking lot. The employees will always know which parking spots are available on each floor or area.

After the user parks, the app will show him on which floor and which spot he parked, so he can find his vehicle easily when he wants to leave the parking lot the parking lot.

Double parking – the app will show who “blocked” whom – everything automatically.

Real-time information to the admin if a vehicle is parking in an appropriate parking spot.

The parking lot’s admin can set up dynamic pricing. It is possible to set up dynamic parking spot pricing in the parking lot by the location – by viewing the vehicle’s license plate number in the parking spot, and when leaving, the final price will be charged.

The parking lot’s administrator knows in real time if a drive-in vehicle parked in any reserved parking spot in the parking lot.

How does that work?

  1. The sensor is installed in the middle of the lane and connects to 3 parking spots on each side, in total 6 parking spots per sensor.
  2. The license plate identification system senses and stores the vehicle’s license number data and sends it to the application’s administration system.
  3. Additionally, the parking lot’s admin will have real-time updates about the parking lot’s status: parking spot use, which parking spots are occupied or available, statistics, and reports.
  4. The application’s subscribers/employees save time and know where the available parking spots are, avoid entering a full parking lot, and best utilize special parking spots (double, reserved, motor pool vehicles).
